Actress Megan Fox has teamed up with men's grooming brand Dr. Squatch on a limited-edition "Feral Fox" soap-and-deodorant bundle, with just 5,000 sets available and a purchase drawing closing September 18.

The collaboration, dubbed the "Formula of Attraction," pairs Fox, known for her roles in "Transformers" and "Jennifer's Body", with the natural-products company on a bundle priced at $21.50. Dr. Squatch opened a drawing on its website September 14 for 1,500 of the bundles, and USA TODAY reported that winners will be notified by email on September 18, the same day the drawing closes. Winners' cards will be charged and products shipped after selection.

The bundle includes a Natural Bar Soap and a Natural Invisible Glide Deodorant. Dr. Squatch's chief brand officer, John Ludeke, called the drop "unlike anything we've released before."

Fox developed the fragrance herself, Dr. Squatch says

A company news release labeled Fox "Professor Fox" and said she developed a fragrance designed to be "irresistible, captivating, and magnetic." Dr. Squatch did not elaborate on the precise nature of Fox's involvement beyond fragrance development, and the company did not disclose whether Fox received financial compensation or an equity stake in the collaboration.

Fox herself did not provide any public comments quoted in the company's announcement or in reporting on the launch.

Where to buy, and what remains unclear

Beyond the 1,500 bundles available through the drawing, Dr. Squatch said "a select number" of items will also be available on Walmart's and Target's websites. The company did not specify how many units each retailer would carry, or whether those quantities come from the total 5,000 sets or represent separate inventory. No physical retail availability was announced.

The drawing itself does not appear to specify geographic restrictions in the available reporting, and the exact shipping timeline after winners are notified remains unstated.

For a brand built on selling soap to men, bringing in one of Hollywood's most recognizable actresses is a marketing play that speaks for itself. Whether 5,000 units is scarcity or just hype, consumers have until September 18 to find out.
